There are many ways to volunteer your time, talents and treasures to Heartland Food Bank.  We need volunteers for:  stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, cleaning, and sweeping.

Our building is also in need of ongoing repairs or improvements which requires the help of qualified tradesmen and/or donated or discounted materials.

Please call the warehouse at 863-385-7885 for more information.

No amount is too small!
Every donation is essential for the continual impact of lives.
THANK YOU
Publix Super Markets Charities!
A sum of $10,000  was granted to the Heartland Food Bank to be used for paving of the loading and parking areas of the warehouse.
Publix Super Markets Charities recently granted the food bank the sum of $10,000 to be used for paving of the loading and parking areas of the warehouse. In addition to this grant, another grant of $10,000 was received last year for the tear-down of a dilapidated, termite-infested building adjacent to the warehouse building, the removal of which has allowed for much-needed parking space. In 2018, the food bank was able to distribute 1.5 million pounds of food to the food insecure in Highlands County. The staff and volunteers of the food bank wish to extend their sincere, continuing thanks to Publix Super Markets Charities for their on-going support that helps us continue our mission to let no one go hungry.

Heartland Food Reservoir, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. We appreciate any and all help we receive. If you are interested in donating to help us feed the needy of Highlands County, please feel free to call or fax for more information.
